Do you need a motorcycle license in Hawaii?

Answer:

That is a good place to start....we are more concerned with your riding experience than the license though. The licensing requirements are dictated by the state or country your drivers license is from. If your local laws do not require a motorcycle license then you are not required to have one to rent a bike.

Answer:

What if the weather is bad on my rental reservation day?

Answer:

The weather is NEVER bad here....we don't have a policy for that.

Question:

Are helmets required in Hawaii?

Answer:

Helmets are not required except for 18 year old and under riders. We provide helmets for free though.

What are the age requirements?

Answer:

Moped and scooter riders must be 16 or over and have a valid drivers license. Motorcycle riders must be 21 with a valid license. Minimum age for passengers is 7 years old.

What are the hours for a daily rental?

Answer:

Daily rentals are from 7:30am until 6:00pm. Overnight fees are for 6:00pm until 7:30am.
Half days are from 7:30am until 12 noon or from 12 noon until 6:00pm.

Is there a multiple day rental discount?

Answer:

Sure is.....pay for 3 days and there are no overnight fees. Pay for 4 days and there are no overnight fees AND you get one day free. Pay for 5 days and there are no overnight fees AND you get two days for free.

Is there a HOG discount?

Answer:

Yep....10% discount off any FULL DAY rental with a valid HOG membership. Bring your card though....no discount without it.

Can you make a reservation for a specific model or date?

Answer:

Yes you can....reservations are taken for FULL DAY rentals only....half days are first come first served. You can just call our (800) 993-4647 number or e-mail us anytime. We process your credit card for the full day charge in advance and you are all set when you get here. Refunds are not given for cancellations with less than 7 days notice. We have a strict no cancellation policy for group reservations of three or more.

Are you close to Waikiki Beach?

Answer:

Nope....different island...we are on HAWAII which is also known as the BIG ISLAND. Waikiki and Honolulu are on OAHU which is in the State of Hawaii but is a different island from ours.

What is the deposit when renting a Harley?

Answer:

$1500 in the form of cash or a credit card imprint (on a card that will hold $1500 when tested).....it is released when the bike comes back in the same condition it was signed for when rented.
